Frequently Asked Questions

What does Northern Lights taste like?+

Northern Lights features earthy, sweet flavor notes. Sweet, piney earthiness on the inhale with a smooth, resinous finish that old-school smokers will recognize immediately. Northern Lights is one of the most celebrated indicas ever bred, and for good reason — the Myrcene and Linalool deliver dreamy, full-body relaxation that quiets a racing mind and gently pushes you toward sleep.

What are the effects of Northern Lights?+

Northern Lights is known for relaxed, calm, sleepy effects. Dominant terpenes include Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Linalool, which contribute to both the flavor profile and the experience.

Is Northern Lights indica, sativa, or hybrid?+

Northern Lights is a indica strain testing at 94% TAC. Effects include relaxed, calm, sleepy. Available in Halara's Naturally Smooth (High THC) line.

Are Halara products lab tested?+

Yes. Every single batch is tested at ISO 17025-accredited third-party labs for 101 contaminants including pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and microbials. We publish full COA (Certificate of Analysis) results for transparency. Zero DCC recalls as of March 2026 — verifiable at recalls.cannabis.ca.gov.

What's in a Halara vape cartridge?+

Nothing artificial. Our Naturally Smooth line contains cannabis-derived distillate with natural terpenes. Our Resin Sauce line is whole plant extract — flower in a cart. No cutting agents, no additives, no PG/VG, no vitamin E acetate. Ever. Verified via batch-specific COAs tested at ISO 17025-accredited labs. Zero DCC recalls as of March 2026.

What hardware does Halara use?+

We exclusively use glass cartridges with medical-grade stainless steel and ceramic heating elements. Most other brands use plastic cartridges where microplastics can leach into the oil. We avoid this entirely. Unlike brands using polycarbonate plastic where microplastics can leach into heated oil, Halara's glass-and-ceramic construction ensures nothing artificial touches the product.
