Why carts clog

• Viscosity: Cold oil thickens and can settle in the airway.

• Temp swings: Heat → thin oil floods; cold → thick oil blocks.

• Gravity: Storing mouthpiece-down lets oil creep into the center tube.

• Residue/debris: Dirty contacts and pocket lint reduce performance.

Daily habits that prevent clogs

• Store upright (mouthpiece up).

• Avoid heat (cars, direct sun, hot pockets).

• Take gentle, steady draws—rapid hard pulls flood the airway.

• Give it a beat between puffs (a few seconds).

• Wipe contacts (battery + cart) with a dry swab weekly.

Travel & temperature

• Keep devices out of hot cars.

• On cold days, warm in your hand for 10–15 seconds before the first pull.

• If flying, keep upright in a case; allow the cart to rest upright after altitude changes.

1. Warm the mouthpiece in your hand for 10–15 seconds.

2. Gentle primer puff (no button if yours is buttoned, or the lightest press)—just enough to nudge warm vapor through.

3. Light pull, short (1–2 seconds).

4. Wipe contacts (battery + cart), re-seat snugly (not overtight).

5. Still tight? Drop voltage one level and repeat steps 1–3.

If it clogs repeatedly, review storage habits (upright, cooler places) and check your battery voltage—too high can thicken residue.

Cleaning contacts (30 seconds)

• Twist off the cart → dab battery pin and cart base with a dry cotton swab.

• Remove any visible lint/debris.

• Re-attach snugly; avoid overtightening.

Long-term storage

• Store upright, cool, and dark.

• Before using again, warm the mouthpiece briefly and take a gentle primer puff.

When to replace a cart
